Cassel, be rescinded. <br />MOTION: Rothwell; SECOrTD: Treat; VOTE: Passed unanimously <br />ACTION: <br />That the variance requested by Mr. John D. Cassel (V-22-581 <br />be approved subject to formally notifying Mr. Cassel that the <br />Council expects him to inform any prospective purchaser that no <br />building permit can granted until permission has been received <br />from the County Health Department for the construction of a <br />septic tank and the necessary drainage fields, or other means <br />of sewage disposal acceptable to the County Health T)epartment <br />and subject to the approval of all other agencies. <br />MOTION: Rothwell; SECOND: Clayton; VOTE: Passed. unanimously <br />Councilman Rothwell further stated that Mr. imsworth had mentioned <br />that the method that is in use by the Town, in regard to having an <br />applicant for a variance verify his legal ownership of property for <br />which the variance is applied, is insufficient. T"r. 'imsworth <br />suggested that the Council review this situation. <br />It was suggested that this matter be brought to the attention of <br />the City Attorney for possible change, if he deems it necessary. <br />2. Traffic Survey - Intersections of Tdith, Altos, and W. Fremont Ave. <br />Councilman Treat inquired as to whether the survey had been made. <br />,The City Clerk reported that the data required for the survey is <br />now in the hands of the California State Automobile Associaion, but <br />they have not as yet submitted a report. <br />3. Fremont Hills Road Improvement - City Clerk. <br />The City Clerk reported that a letter, dated May 1st, 1958, giving <br />a summary of the inspection made on April 29b, 1958 of the Fremont <br />Hills Unit ;rl, was received from McCandless and Jett. <br />Conditions for in -tract improvements and for off -tract improvements <br />will be covered. under separate bonds. Off -tract inprovements to <br />contiguous roads are to covered by one bond. <br />The Mayor commented that there must be a difference made in the <br />in -tract and off -tract agreements.. <br />Tfr: William Longmier stated that he conferred with one of the Fre- <br />mont mills Development Company Engineers, and they were going to tak( <br />item by item. <br />5-8-58 <br />
