Don Clark (54-56) 4 -Tu ding sites. Engineer: McKay & Somps After considerable discussion by Chairman of the Planning Commission, Richard Bullis, Fire Chief Bassett, and property owner, Don Clark, and after reading letters from City Attorney, Gardner Bullis and City Engineer, Charles McCandless, acting Mayor Rothwell made the following observation: There are several issues involved here: 1. Problem of sufficiency of the water system which is available to this land, and adequacy of the fire hydrants. 2. Mr. Clark's appeal to the Planning Commission action at its March 13th meeting, which action is not yet official because the minutes have not been approved. 3. Attorney for Mr. Clark, Mr. Frank Crist, sent a letter to the Council stating his willing- ness to have the matter referred back to the Planning Commission. Therefore, the Dori Clark Record of Survey was referred back to the Planning Commission for further study. 2. Louis Caine (51-56) Engineer: McKay & Somps vision of' one lot into four. Note was taken that this map does not have the approval of the Board of Health or the Fire Chief. The City Council is unable to take action on this map until approval has been given to the Don Clark map. Therefore, action was deferred pending action on the Clark map. 3. Don B. Harris - V-2-57- Variance RECOMMENDATION: Move that the Variance as submitted by Don Harris be granted. Carried voice vote. Motion: Hoefler; Second: Powle; Vote: Passed. 4. Reservations are still being taken for the League of California Cities dinner meeting at Rickey's on Thrusday, March 21, 19573 -at 7:30.
