Don Clark (54-56) <br />4 -Tu ding sites. <br />Engineer: McKay & Somps <br />After considerable discussion by Chairman of the <br />Planning Commission, Richard Bullis, Fire Chief <br />Bassett, and property owner, Don Clark, and after <br />reading letters from City Attorney, Gardner Bullis <br />and City Engineer, Charles McCandless, acting Mayor <br />Rothwell made the following observation: <br />There are several issues involved here: <br />1. Problem of sufficiency of the water system <br />which is available to this land, and adequacy <br />of the fire hydrants. <br />2. Mr. Clark's appeal to the Planning Commission <br />action at its March 13th meeting, which action <br />is not yet official because the minutes have <br />not been approved. <br />3. Attorney for Mr. Clark, Mr. Frank Crist, <br />sent a letter to the Council stating his willing- <br />ness to have the matter referred back to the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Therefore, the Dori Clark Record of Survey was referred <br />back to the Planning Commission for further study. <br />2. Louis Caine (51-56) Engineer: McKay & Somps <br />vision of' one lot into four. <br />Note was taken that this map does not have the approval <br />of the Board of Health or the Fire Chief. The City <br />Council is unable to take action on this map until <br />approval has been given to the Don Clark map. Therefore, <br />action was deferred pending action on the Clark map. <br />3. Don B. Harris - V-2-57- Variance <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Move that the Variance as submitted by Don Harris <br />be granted. Carried voice vote. <br />Motion: Hoefler; Second: Powle; Vote: Passed. <br />4. Reservations are still being taken for the League <br />of California Cities dinner meeting at Rickey's <br />on Thrusday, March 21, 19573 -at 7:30. <br />
