CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF ADJOURNED MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 20, 1956 <br />The meeting was called to order at 8 o'clock P. M., Thursday, <br />at Purissima School, <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmen Dungan, Fowles Mayor Treat <br />Absent: Councilmen. Bledsoe, Rothwell <br />Mr. Tuttlets request for refund of filing fee was denied. <br />A letter to the Council from Mr. Ainsworth was read and <br />ordered placed on file. <br />Mayor Treat read a letter from Mr. Bullis answering <br />Mr. Ainsworth, and was ordered placed on file. <br />The following motion was made by Councilman Fowls: <br />I move a vote of thanks be extended to our City Attorney, <br />Gardner Bullis, for his unselfish and untiring efforts <br />on behalf of the Town of Los Altos Hills. I also move <br />that the Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills extend <br />to.Attorney Bullis an expression of its complete confi- <br />dence in his guidance and appreciation of his services, <br />both as a legal counselor and senior advisor on muni- <br />cipal matters. Seconded by Councilman Dungan and carried <br />by voice vote. <br />Ordinance_ No. 23, sales and use tax, was discussed by At- <br />torney Bullis and deferred for future discussion. <br />The Neary offer on help and repair of roads, if and when <br />truck routes were named, was discussed and the Mayor <br />answered this request by reading a copy of a truck boutt <br />iM0*Rr Q&&n aoe, Mayor Treat moved that the ordinance be re- <br />ferred to the Truck Route Committee, seconded by Council- <br />man Fowls and carried by voice vote. <br />Councilman Dungan asked that a meeting be held and asked <br />everyone interested in truck routes to attend. <br />CORRES* <br />PONDENCE <br />Mr. Tuttle <br />Mr. Ains- <br />worth <br />Ord. #23 <br />Sales/Uae `Pax <br />
