CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />sEPmum 17 1956 <br />There being no quorua present, the regular meeting of <br />the City Council of September 10 1956s at 9:30 A. M., <br />was adjourned by City Clerk Paulman to Wednesday, <br />September 5, 19560 at 7:45 P- M - <br />There being no quorum present, the meeting of September 5, <br />1956, was adjourned by City Clerk Paulman to September 120 <br />1956s at 7:h,5 P- M. <br />The adjourned council meeting of September 12, 1956, was <br />called to order by Mayor Treat at 8 o'clock P. M. at <br />Purissima School. <br />ROLL CALL: Present - Councilmen Dungan, Fowles, Mayor Treat <br />Absent - Councilmen Bledsoe, Rothwell <br />Mayor Treat read a letter from Marlais & Hover in which <br />an offer was made by the Neary Quarry to repair Stone - <br />brook Avenue and assist in repairing El Monte if the <br />council was finsneially unable to do so under conditions <br />that the above roads are named as truck routes. The <br />Mayor then read a letter in answer to Mr. Marlaist re- <br />quest, and it was moved by Mayor Treat and seconded by <br />Councilman Dungan that the letter be sent to Mr. Marlais <br />and a copy placed on file. Carried by voice vote. <br />A letter from. the Whitmyer Co. regarding the permission <br />to erect signs was aggain read, and the council agreed <br />that only one sign, 6 square feet, be allowed. <br />The Mayor appointed Mr. Rea Gardiner to the Truck Route <br />Committee. <br />The Mayor advised the council that he would attend the <br />Super -Highway Meeting at Redwood City on September 24th. <br />The following resolutions were introduced: <br />Letter from <br />Marlais & <br />Hover <br />Letter from <br />Whitmyer Coo <br />
