CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF ADJOURNED MEETING <br />AUGUST 309 1956 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P. M., Thursday, <br />at Purissima School. <br />ROLL CALL: Present - Councilmen Bledsoe, Rothwell, <br />Mayor Treat <br />Absent - Councilmen Dungan, Fowle <br />The Mayor informed the council that they had no control Purissima <br />of the placing of the water mains, but that the Water Water District <br />District Faust pit the roads back in the same condition <br />in which they were. <br />`'errâ–º Mayort s conference letter - August 23, 1956. <br />It was moved by Councilman Rothwell, seconded by <br />Councilman Bledsoe and carried unanimously that <br />Mayor Treat appoint a committee to represent the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills. This will be done at a <br />later date. <br />A letter addressed to the Taxpayers and Citizens of <br />Los Altos Hills was placed on file. The offer referred <br />to the Truck Route Committee. < <br />The second reading of Ordinance No. 23 was postponed <br />until a future meeting. <br />Mr. Koehn questioned the $500.00 budgeted fdr the <br />election, and Mr. Caldwell questioned the $1800.00 <br />budgeted for road inspection. These questions were <br />explained by Councilman Rothwell. Mrs. True questioned <br />Attorney Bullis what constituted an offer which was <br />answered by Attorney Bullis.
