Los Altos Hills being the so-called Purissima School build- <br />ing on Robleda Avenue near Purissima in said City and that <br />the election officials as named by the city clerk be rati- <br />fied and approved. Carried unanimously. <br />Councilman Rothwell reported that the budget on expendi- Budget <br />tures and income was not ready for submission, and that <br />a meeting was scheduled as soon as Treasurer Lovett and <br />Councilman Fowle returned. <br />There was no report from the Purissima Water District. <br />A letter from City Attorney Bullis on the trubk ordinance <br />was read and placed on file. <br />City Engineer McCandless reported that the investigation Truck <br />of State Engineer Ives had not been thoroughly digested Routes <br />and will meet with other committee men on August 6th. <br />Councilman Dungan reported that Architect William Simrell Building <br />will have plans and specifications on August 6th and also Committee <br />that he has had numerous requests for helping on the build- <br />ing of the city hall. <br />City Attorney Bullis asked the council to set a date for <br />%W a public hearing. The council decided to hold a public <br />hearing on August 22, 1956. <br />Mr. Russell Walton representing the Citizens Committee Truckers <br />read and discussed a pledge signed by the truckers and and <br />the quarries wherein they pledged to police themselves tLs Quarries <br />to safety and speed. <br />Bills amounting to $456.63 was presented and upon motion Bills <br />of Councilman Bledsoe, seconded by Councilman Rothwell, <br />was passed unanimously for payment. <br />Chief of &lice McKenna repay ted that the sheriff is now Patroling <br />patroling the roadsof the Town of Los Altos Hills on an by the <br />average of three (3) hours a week. County <br />It was agreed that the request of the Whitmyer Company Signs <br />for two (2) directional signs be referred to the Planning <br />Commission. <br />A used permit requested by Mr. and Mrs. Baumer to operate Nursery <br />a nursery school, upon motion of Councilman Dungan and School <br />seconded by Councilman Bledsoe, was granted and carried Permit <br />unanimously. <br />Council Minutes <br />- 2 - 8-4-56 <br />
