MINUTES OF THE COUNCIL MEETING <br />OF <br />LOS ALTOS HILLS, CALIFORNIA <br />APRIL 23, 1956 <br />An adjourned meeting of the city council was called <br />into session at 8:00 P. M., Monday, April 23, 1956, at Puris- <br />sima School. The following councilmen were present upon roll <br />call: Bledsoe, Dungan, Fowle and Rothwell; absent, Treat. <br />City Attorney Bullis advised that Councilman Bledsoe <br />must take the oath of office once again as it must be repeated <br />verbally after the administrator of the oath. Mr. Bledsoe and <br />Dr. Rothwell took the oath of office as re-elected councilmen <br />for a period of four (4) years of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br />and were sworn in officially by City Clerk Paulman. <br />Councilman Bledsoe nominated Mr. Sidney W. Treat for <br />Mayor. There being no further nominations, it was moved by <br />Mr. Fowle and seconded by Mr. Rothwell that nominations be <br />closed. A motion was made by Councilman Bledsoe and seconded <br />by Councilman Fowle that the city clerk cast a unanimous ballot <br />for Mr. Treat as Mayor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />pm -((� i p ik r <br />tt SOLUTION NO. 15 was presented and read relating to <br />a memorandum of agreement with the State asking for $1,000 for <br />preliminary engineering for the year 1956 - 1957. This reso- <br />lution was passed and adopted by the city council of the Town <br />
