To start the program, the building committee will consist of <br />the following members: <br />Professor Wallace Stegner <br />Mrs. Francis Duveneck <br />Proctor Mellquist <br />Richard Dawson <br />J. M. Fowle <br />T. A. Dungan <br />It was also reported that Mr. Simrell has offered his services <br />to the committee without charge. Vice Mayor Dungan extended <br />his thanks in behalf of the council for Mr. Simrell's services. <br />An offer for all excavating services for the building was also <br />received by telephone. <br />City Clerk P aulman was directed to write the members <br />serving on the building committee advising them that they will <br />be notified when a meeting is to be held. <br />Vice Mayor Dungan directed City Attorney Bullis to <br />draw up a deed of gift to present at the next meeting. <br />City Attorney Bullis ad*ised the council to protest <br />the matter of gas rates when presented by the Public Utilities <br />Commission. <br />The matter of the garbage contract was discussed briefly <br />and will be considered further at the next meeting. Councilman <br />Bledsoe suggested that the city clerk should contact Mr. Macabee <br />and Mr. Hibner to be present at the meeting. <br />An ordinance covering pinball machirB s will be presented <br />at the next meeting by Chief of Police McKenna. City Attorney <br />Bullis advised that this ordinance should be given due consider- <br />ation. Chief of Police McKenna will also present a proposed <br />3 - 4-23-56 <br />
