MINUTES OF THE COUNCIL MEETING <br />LOS ALTOS HILLS, CALIFORNIA <br />MARCH 12, 1956 <br />An adjourned meeting of the Los Altos Hills City <br />Council was called to order by Vice Mayor T. A. Dungan at <br />8:00 P. M., March 12, 1956. The following members were present <br />upon roll call: Leighton M. Bledsoe, T. A. Dungan, J. M. Fowle <br />and C. Easton Rothwell; absent, Mayor Treat. <br />Ordinance No. 11 was presented for the second read- <br />ing and was read in its entirety by the city clerk providing <br />for the care and expenditure of moneys. No action was neces- <br />sary as t'zis ordinance was passed and adopted by the city <br />council on March 3, 1956. <br />Mr. Fowle had nothing to r eport on tax rates at this <br />time, but stated that it would be forthcoming shortly. <br />Resolution No. 11 was presented by City Attorney <br />Bullis and read by the city clerk in its entirety relating to <br />borrowing $1000.00 on note at 5 per cent interest. After dis- <br />cussion, it was moved by Mr. Rothwell, seconded by Mr. Bledsoe <br />adopting this resolution. motion carried unanimously. <br />Road Commissioner Macabee made a report on road matters. <br />He had conferred with Mr. Bushnell, County Road Engineer, and <br />stated that the county is obligated to maintain roads until the <br />
