Director Chiu responded to Mr. Epstein's comments and noted that the pavement <br />management system is available to all online. <br />MOTION MADE AND SECONDED: Vice Mayor Corrigan moved to approve <br />Resolution 47-14 awarding the contract for the 2014 Pavement Rehabilitation <br />Project to O'Grady Paving; with the addition that the Public Works Director change <br />the contingency to 10% of the total cost and clarifies the roads to be added with the <br />additional funds at the September City Council meeting; the remaining amount <br />stays in the budget but does not get allocated without council approval. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilmember Larsen. <br />Motion Carried 4 to 0: <br />AYES: Mayor Radford, Vice Mayor Corrigan, Councilmember Larsen, <br />Councilmember Waldeck <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Harpootlian <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />G. Resolution of Local Support Authorizing the Filing of an Application for Active <br />�w Transportation Program(ATP Funding Assigned to the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission (MTC), Committing any Necessary Matching Funds <br />and Stating the Assurance to Complete the Town's Proposed West Fremont Road <br />Pathways Project (,Staff: R. Chiu) <br />Councilmember Waldeck inquired as to the cost and probability of winning the <br />grant. <br />Director Chiu responded that this is for the completion of the Safe Route to School <br />pathway project. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />MOTION MADE AND SECONDED: Councilmember Waldeck moved to <br />approve Resolution 48-14 local support authorizing the filing of an application for <br />active transportation program (ATP) funding assigned to the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission (MTC), committing necessary matching funds and <br />stating the assurance to complete the Town's proposed West Fremont Road <br />pathways project.
