B. Pledl;e of Allegiance <br />Vice Mayor Corrigan introduced special guests, Knox Schlossberg, Lawton <br />Corrigan, Charlie Schlossberg, William Corrigan and Robert Corrigan who led <br />the pledge of allegiance. <br />1. AGENDA REVIEW <br />Vice Mayor Corrigan requested that item 2.13 be moved to later in the meeting; <br />Councilmember Waldeck requested that Consent Calendar Items 7.13, 7.0 and 7.G be <br />pulled for discussion; and, Councilmember Larsen requested that Consent Calendar Item <br />7.I be pulled for discussion. <br />2. PRESENTATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS <br />A. Appointment to the Community Relations Committee <br />Deborah Padovan, City Clerk introduced the item and stated that the applicant <br />was not in attendance. <br />Council discussion ensued. <br />DIRECTION: The applicant should be encouraged to attend at least one <br />Community Relations Committee meeting. After that occurs, the Council will <br />consider his application. <br />The Council now considered Item 3 - Presentations from the Floor. <br />3. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR Persons wishing to address the Council <br />on any subiect not on the agenda may do so now. Please complete—a Speaker Card <br />located on the back table of the Council Chambers and submit it to the City Clerk. <br />Comments are limited to two (2) minutes per speaker. California law prohibits the <br />Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda Under a Resolution <br />Previously adopted by the Council, such items can be referred to staff for <br />appropriate action, which may include placement on the next available agenda <br />Yoriko Kishimoto, MidPeninsula Regional Open Space District, thanked the City <br />Council for their support of Measure AA. <br />City Manager Carl Cahill informed the City Council that the Town's long time Planning <br />Director Debbie Pedro, was leaving the Town and will be working in Portola Valley. He <br />also introduced two new employees, Pak Lin, Finance Manager and Tina Tseng, Senior <br />Engineer. <br />4.
