• • <br /> WJM&L: PDA: s 2/11/70 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 576 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEER AND ATTORNEYS <br /> SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 6 <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town . of Los Altos Hills, <br /> California, that <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined to undertake proceedings <br /> pursuant to appropriate assessment and assessment bond acts for the <br /> acquisitions and improvements in said Town; <br /> WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served <br /> by appointing and employing an engineer and attorneys for the <br /> preparation and conduct of said proceedings in connections with said <br /> acquisitions and improvements; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows : <br /> to That Charles S. McCandless & Company, Palo Alto, California, <br /> be, and they are hereby, appointed as Engineer of Work and employed <br /> to do and perform all engineering work necessary in and for said pro- <br /> ceedings, including preparation of report, estimate of costs, diagram <br /> and assessment, preliminary surveying, plans, profiles, specifications, <br /> setting grade stakes and supervision of work; that their compensation <br /> be, and it is hereby, fixed at a reasonable engineering fee for all <br /> of said engineering, see fee to be approved by the City Council of <br /> said Town, and to be assessed as an incidental expense of said <br /> proceedings. <br /> 2. That Robin Faisant, City Attorney of said Town, and the law <br /> firm of Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, San Mateo, California, be, <br /> and they are hereby, appointed and employed to do and perform all <br /> legal services required in the conduct of said proceedings, including <br /> the preparation of all papers not required to be prepared by the <br /> Engineer, examining and approving the engineering documents and ad- <br />
