PI,AfffiING COMm1ISSION <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR P:r3t;TING <br />July 13, 1964 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Planning Commission of the Town of <br />Los Altos Hills was called to order by Chairman Charles R. <br />Garbett, Monday, July 13, 1964, at 7:50 F. M., at the Town Hall, <br />26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California. <br />ROLL CALL: PRE3E:eT: Commissioners Ashby, Hibner, Prentice, <br />Chairman Garbett <br />ABSENT: Commissioners Alter, Hawley, Mellquist <br />MINUTES:June 22, 1964 <br />ACTION: <br />Adopt Minutes of June 22, 1964 as submitted. <br />June 29i 1964 <br />ACTION: <br />Adopt Minutes of June 29, 1964 as submitted. <br />COMPNNICATIONS: <br />Letter dated July 7, 1964 from Mayor blur. B. Clayton requesting <br />Planning Commission recommendation for building site approval <br />on the ldils Foster property at 24965 Oneonta Drive, Los Altos <br />Hills. <br />Mr. Foster explained his request was for building site approval <br />inasmuch as 1/4 acre had been taken by the State leaving a <br />3/4 acre site and would like to be assured that he bas a legally, <br />approved building site. The Council advised at its July 60 <br />meeting the only proper procedure was to apply under the require- <br />ments of Ordinance No. 99 and therefore is submitting a Tentative <br />Map for Building Site approval at this time. 1"r. Foster also <br />commented that all negotiations with the State had been based <br />on the contingency that he had an approved building site. <br />Mr. Charles W. Thissell, attorney for the State of California, <br />(Division of Contracts and Rights of Way - Legal) presented a <br />letter from the City Manager of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br />dated January 24, 1963, covering the Manning Commission's <br />recommendations and conditions and Council action regarding <br />the E1 Monte Road construction, particularly pointing out <br />condition. No. 1 as applying to '!I. Foster, namely, that the <br />State will provide sanitary sewer facilities to serve the six <br />lots that wero reduced to less than 1 -acre net. Mr. Thissell <br />said the sewers have been constructed and completed according <br />to this condition. <br />
