FUND-RAISING EFFORTS OF THE HILLS LITTLE, <br /> LEAGUE. <br /> WHEREAS, the H1ls Little League is currently engagedin a <br /> fund-raising drive to provide funds for construction of needed <br /> improvements at the Los..Altos Hills Recreation Center; and: <br /> WHEREAS, the activities already undertaken by Hills Little <br /> League to improve the Los Altos Hills Recreation Center demonstrate <br /> a high degree of interest and commitmentof many citizens of the <br /> community and of the Hills Little League in particular; and <br /> WHEREAS, Little League is of-noteworthy value to, the, <br /> community by reason of its bringing: together boys and their <br /> families in a wholesome and worthwhile recreational activity <br /> which is productive of good health and qualities of good <br /> citizenship and sportsmanship, all to the betterment of the <br /> community and the public health, safety and welfare; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the -City =Council of the - <br /> Town of Los Altos Hills that said Council does hereby endorse the <br /> objectives andthe fund-raising activities of.
