Motion Carried 5 to 0: <br />AYES: Mayor Corrigan,_ Mayor Pro Tem Harpootlian, Councilmember <br />Larsen, Councilmember Radford, Councilmember Waldeck <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Breene Kerr, Los Altos Hills, said that the water situation has been building for a <br />number of years and suggested exploring bringing recycled water or "purple pipe" <br />to town. <br />Richard Partridge, Los Altos Hills, has observed projects coming to the Planning <br />Commission with expansive lawns and he urged to the Council to consider <br />conservation measures that are not "toothless." <br />D. Annual Presentation b the Space Committee (8 minutes) <br />Roger Spreen, Chair of the Los Altos Hills Open Space Committee, provided an <br />annual report on the activities of the committee. <br />Council discussion ensued. No action was taken. <br />3. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR Persons wishing to address the Council <br />on any subiect not on the agenda may do so now. Please complete a Sneaker Card <br />located on the back table of the Council Chambers and submit it to the City Clerk. <br />Comments are limited to two (2) minutes per speaker. California law prohibits the <br />Council from acting on items that do not appear on the agenda. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Mandatoa Update of the Housing Element of the General Plan, Housing Element <br />update to analyze housing needs for the community and adoptog als, policies, <br />programs and quantified objectives to provide for those needs. State law requires <br />each town, city, and county to update its Housing Element every eight years. The <br />2015-2023 Housing Element is the statutory update of the Town's Housing <br />Element previously adopted by the Town and certified by the State on November <br />18, 2010.
