<br /> has appointed a-~site selection•committ.ee to consider and recommend a
<br /> site for a proposed•new administrative._.building, and
<br /> WHEREAS, -a primary site. under consideration.-by this•'commi_ttee is • .
<br /> • located within the corporate limits of •Los•Altos" Hills, and, : . '
<br /> `..WHEREAS,:.since, its.incorporationin 1956, the Town of ,LOS Altos :'
<br /> Hills has" comprized a single zone, -namely R-1, defined as•"Residential=
<br /> Agriculture,; and - . . ,
<br /> WHEREAS, - the permitted usesof properties within this, zone include '
<br /> - homes,: agricultural, schools• and churches,. but not :office buildings or .
<br /> ' factories,. and• ' , •
<br /> :WHEREAS, the site is .riot centrally located with• respect to the . :
<br /> schools which itis- intended to. service, it would add unnecessarily to
<br /> costs of. operation and maintenance, and •would •detrac.t •.from the .rural. sur-

<br /> and this excess amount ofland. off the tax rolls amounts to a 'subsidy .by• _

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE,IT RESOLVED" that the Town of 'Los Alto's:Hills
<br /> deems the, location of an administrative office -building,in' Los Altos• Hill s :
<br /> ' • ' to •be contrary.to the•intent -of" the Ci:ty,Ordinances and contrary to•the- , _ . ' '
