The following findings are made by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills pursuant to Government Code section 56757: 1.1 That the unincorporated territory is within the urban service area of the Town as adopted by Santa Clara County LAFCO; and 1.2 That the County surveyor has determined the boundaries of the proposal to be definite and certain, and in compliance with the road annexation policies of the Town; and 1.3 That the proposal does not split lines of assessment or ownership; and 1.4 That the proposal does not create islands or areas in which it would be difficult to provide municipal services; and 1.5 That the proposal is consistent with the adopted general plan of the Town; and 1.6 That the territory is contiguous to existing Town limits; and 1.7 That the Town has complied with all conditions imposed by the commission for inclusion of the territory in the urban service area of the Town. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, as follows: 1. That three (3) valid written protest(s) to the reorganization proceedings were received and the value of those protest(s) submitted prior to the close of the protest hearing constitute 21% of the registered voters and 17% of property owners owning six (6) percent of the assessed value in the affected territory. 2. That said reorganization is hereby ordered without election pursuant to Government Code Section 57075.
