411 RESOLUTION NO . 138 410 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS, CONSENTING TO THE COM- MENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS AS SAN ANTONIO HILLS NO. 2. WHEREAS, there has heretofore beenpresented to the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills a petition re- questing the Council to give its consent to the commencement of annexation proceedings in connection with that certain in- habited territory, a true description of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and by this reference incorporated here- in, which is contiguous to the Town of Los Altos Hills ; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission rendered its report and recommendation to the Council on the 5th day of December, 1960, favoring the commencement of the annexation proceedings ; and WHEREAS, this Council has duly considered all aspects. of said proposed annexation,. including the fact that certain of the subdivided territory within the area proposed to be annexed may not meet the requirements of the Town Standards and applicable ordinances ; and WHEREAS, it is deemed that annexation of the said territory would be in the best interests of the Town of Los Altos Hills; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills : 1. That consent be and hereby is granted for the commencement of annexation proceedings in connection with said inhabited territory in accordance with the Annexation Act of 1913 ; 2. That said unincorporated territory be and hereby is designated as San Antonio Hills No. 2; 3. That a true description of said territory is at- tached hereto as Exhibit "A" and is hereby incorporated herein by reference ; 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
