Town f Los Altos Hills o 0 City Council Regular Meeting Minutes Thursday, February 17, 2011 Council Chambers, 26379 Fremont Road CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Summit called the City Council Regular Meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall. Present: Mayor Ginger Summit, Mayor Pro Tem.Rich Larsen, Councilmember Jean Mordo, Councilmember John Radford, Councilmember Gary Waldeck Absent: None Staff: City Manager Carl Cahill, Planning Director Debbie Pedro, City Engineer/Public Works Director Richard Chiu, Finance Director Nick Pegueros, Attorney Jason Rosenberg Mayor Summit mentioned adjustments to the Agenda. The Council will attempt to consider item 30 as close to 8 p.m. as possible. Item 31 was moved to Unfinished Business, item 21 or 22. She received a request for item 24 to be moved to the old position of item 30. • APPOINTMENTS AND PRESENTATIONS 1. Council Appointments: A. Standing Committees B. LA/LAH Joint Community Volunteer Services Award Committee C. Los Altos Library Commission Environmental Initiative Committee: MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Waldeck, seconded by Radford to appoint Sheela Veerina to the Standing Environmental Initiative Committee. Joint Community Volunteer Service Awards Committee: MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Motion by Larsen, seconded by Mordo to appoint . Rebecca Hickman to the Joint Community Volunteer Service Awards Committee. MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Motion by Mordo, seconded by Waldeck to appoint Patty Radlo to the Joint Community Volunteer Service Awards Committee. MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Larsen, seconded by Waldeck and passed (Councilmember Mordo - abstain) to appoint Roger Burnell to the Joint Community Volunteer Service Awards Committee.
