• 41) RESOLUTION NO. 35 WHEREAS on the 12th day of September , 1956, the City Council of the Town cf Los Altos Hills duly adopted Ordi- nance No. 19 of said City providing for the regulation of the sub- division of land and requiring the presentation of tentative and final maps for such purpose within the Town of Los Altos Hills, and, WHEREAS on the 13th day of November , 1956, a referendum petition was duly fled with the City Clerk of the Town of Los Altos Hills protesting said Ordinance and requesting that it be repealed or submitted to election of the voters of the Town of Los Altos Hills, and WHEREAS the City Attorney of the Town of Los Altos Hills has reported that said petition is in form valid and the City Clerk of the Town of Los Altos Hills has reported that not less than 10 per cent of the voters of the Town of Los Altos Hills alive been found upon his investigation to have properly signed said petition, and WHEREAS the effective date of said Ordinance No. 19 has thereby been suspended, and WHEREAS the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills has reconsidered said Ordinance and determined that said Ordinance shall, pursuant to Section 1772 of the Election Code of the State of California, be submitted to the voters of said Town of Los Altos Hills at the Special Municipal Electionto be held on January 22nd , 1957. N, i 5BEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Ordinance No. 19 be and the same hereby is submitted to the voters of the Town of Los Altos Hills at the special municipal election to be held on January 22nd , 1957, and that the officers of the Town of Los Altos Hills make all necessary arrangements and provision therefor. PASSED AND ADAPTED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills this 21st day of November , 1956, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen Dungan, Fowle, Rothwell, Mayor Treat NOES: None ABSENT: Councilman Bledsoe Mayor ATTEST: Ci y Clerk
