RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
SETTING A DATE FOR CONSIDERATION OF REORGANIZATION OF AREA
DESIGNATED "MORA HEIGHTS WAY NO. 2" CONSISTING OF 1.65 ACRES
LOCATED AT 23281 MORA HEIGHTS WAY,
LOS ALTOS HILLS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills ("Town") has received a request
for annexation of an area designated as Mora Heights Way No. 2 from Elevation home Investors
(23281 Mom Heights Way), owner of a property within an unincorporated "island"; and
WHEREAS,the annexation area, 1.65 acres of land located at 23281 Mora Herts Way in Los Altos
Hills (APN 331-14-020: see Exhibit"A") is contiguous to the Town of Los Altos Hills and is within its
Urban Service Area;and
WHEREAS, annexation would provide for use of Town services; and
WHEREAS, this territory was pre-zoned on August 2, 2001 to the Town of Los Altos Hills' R-
A(Residential Agricultural)zoning district; and
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation is categorically exempt form the provision of the
California Environmental Quality Act per Section 15319(a); and
WHEREAS, the County Surveyor of Santa Clara county has found the map and description
(Exhibit "B") to be in accordance with Government Code Section 56757, the boundaries to be
definite and certain, and the proposal to be in compliance with LAFCO's road annexation
policies; and
WHEREAS, as provided in Government Code Section 56757, the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills shall be the conducting authority for a reorganization including an annexation to
the Town and
WHEREAS, the territory is uninhabited and all owners of land included in the proposal have
consented to this annexation; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 56663(a) provides that if a petition for annexation is
signed by all owners of land within the affected territory the City Council may approve or
disapprove the annexation without public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does RESOLVE that
the Town hereby initiates annexation proceedings and will consider annexation of the territory
designated as"Mora Heights Way No. 2"to the Town at a public hearing on February 15,2018.

The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on 18th day of January, 2018 by the following vote:

All that certain real property situated in the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, being all of Lot 4 of Tract No. 1970, recorded in Book 88 of Maps, at
Pages 54 and 55, being a portion of San Antonio Rancho, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a Southerly corner of Lot 12 as showa on the sub4ivision map Tract No. 10,
recorded in Book"Y"of Maps at Page 53, Santa Clara County,Records,said point being on the
Southeasterly Town Limit, established by Annexation entitled Mora Glen Drive# 1, Document#
23424090 Santa Clara County Records;
Thence(1) along said Town Limit North 45 Degrees 56 Minutes 22 Seconds East a length of
155.97 feet;
Thence(2)North 79 Degrees 52 Minutes 40 Seconds East a length of 68,35 feet;
Thence(3)North 69 Degrees 31 Minutes 47 Seconds East a length of 79.97 feet;- •-
Thence(4) leaving said Town Limit along the lot line between Lost 3 and 4 of said Tract No.
1970 South 20 Degrees 22 Minutes 37 Seconds East a length of 200.79 feet;
Thence(5)North 85 Degrees 38 Minutes 25 Seconds East a length of 197.06 feet;
Thence(6) South 84 Degrees 04 Minutes 26 Seconds East a length of 112.53 feet to the Westerly
right of way line of Mora Heights Way(50 feet wide);
Thence(7)20.30 feet along said right of way and non-tangent curve to the left, said curve having
a radius of 115.00 feet, delta 10 Degrees 06 Minutes 59 Seconds and a radial bearing South 69
Degrees.29 Minutes 30 Seconds East;
Thence(8) leaving said right of way along the Southerly boundary of Lot 4 North 84 Degrees 04
