RESOLUTION 19-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS APPROVING A PART-TIME BENEFITED ADMIN
CLERIC/TECHNICIAN IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Town's Admin Clerk/Technician position in the Administrative Services
Department is an unbenefited part-time position; and
WHEREAS, the Admin Clerk/Technician position is key to maintain adequate internal control;
and
WHEREAS, the Admin Clerk/Technician is allowed to work no more than 1,000 per year as a
result of Ca1PERS limitations; and
WHEREAS the Department needs to increase the total allowable hours for this position to
maintain effective internal control in the absence of a Finance Manager; and
WHEREAS, once the Finance Manager position is filled, there continues to have value in
maintain the position at 60 percent of full-time to allow the Department to proactive address and
manage other existing projects; and
NOW THEREFORE, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills that a part-time
benefited Administrative Clerk/Technician position in the Administrative Services Department is
made a part hereof and are hereby approved and adopted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills at a special meeting held on the 22nd day of March, 2018 by the following vote:
AYES: Radford, Spreen, Corrigan, Waldeck, Wu
NOES: None
