HomeMy WebLinkAbout23-18 410 V RESOLUTION 23-18 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS ESTABLISHING A PREFERENTIAL PARKING DISTRICT (Moody Springs Court between Moody Road to the end of the cul-de-sac) WHEREAS, the residents of at least fifty-one percent of the developed frontage on Moody Springs Court, Los Altos Hills submitted a petition to the Town requesting the establishment of parking controls to address the extensive utilization of Moody Springs Court; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that preferential parking district is appropriate for both sides of Moody Springs Court between Moody Road to the end of the cul-de sac within the Town of Los Altos Hills; and WHEREAS, on February 19, 2004 the City Council adopted an ordinance ("Preferential Parking Ordinance")which authorizes the Council to establish preferential parking areas by resolution and Council has determined that a preferential parking area is appropriate for Moody Springs Court; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does RESOLVE as follow: Section 1. The City Council hereby establishes a preferential parking district for both sides of Moody Springs Court between Moody Road to the end of the cul-de-sac within the Town of Los Altos Hills. Section 2. The City Council hereby directs the City Engineer to cause appropriate signage to be erected on Moody Springs Court as required by Los Altos Hills Municipal Code. Section 3. Pursuant to California Vehicle Code Section 22507(a), enforcement of the terms of this resolution shall not take effect until such signage is in place.
