RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ACCEPTING GRANT OF A PATHWAY EASEMENT
(Lands of Szekely)
WHEREAS, Kay Carlynn Szekely is the owner of the property commonly known as
13643 Wildcrest Drive, Los Altos Hills, California; and
WHEREAS, Owner has offered to grant to the Town an easement for the construction,
operation and maintenance of existing and future pathway facilities, for pedestrian, bicycle and
equestrian use ("Pathway Easement"); and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it is necessary and proper and in the public
interest to accept the grant of the Pathway Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does
RESOLVE as follows:
Section 1. The Town hereby accepts on behalf of the public, and for the purposes
therein described,the Grant of Pathway Easement attached to this Resolution as Attachment A.
Section 2. The Town shall accept, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute,the Grant of Pathway Easement.

GRANT OF EASEMENT
TO THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
(Lands of Szekely)
THIS GRANT OF EASEMENT is made this /i day of/ ,'_ , 2006, by
Kay Carlynn Szekely, as Trustee of Trust A crtd. und. agrmt. dtd. August 8, 1989
("Owner"), owner of the property commonly known as 13643 Wildcrest Drive, Los Altos
Hills, California,to and for the benefit of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal
corporation("Town").
Section 1. Owner does hereby offer to grant to Town a perpetual right and
nonexclusive easement for the construction, operation and maintenance of existing and
future pathway facilities, for pedestrian, bicycle and equestrian use, together with right of
access thereto, on, under, over, along and through the real property situated in the Town
of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California as described and depicted
in Exhibit A attached hereto ("Easement").
Section 2. Owner shall not allow the placement or construction of any
structures or improvements on the Easement property.
Section 3. The Town hereby accepts the grant of the Easement.

Legal Description—Pathway Easement
A 10.00 foot pathway easement over a portion of that certain Real Property located in the
Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California as shown on Exhibit
"B" made a part hereof,being all of the lands described in the Grant Deed to Kay Carlynn
Szekely or her successor(s) as Trustee of Trust A crtd. und. agrmt. dtd. August 8, 1989 in
Document number 13112448, recorded November 29, 1995, Santa Clara County
Records, said easement being contiguous to and adjacent Northerly to the Southerly line
of said Lands of Szekely, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of said Lands of Szekely, thence along the
Southerly line of said parcel,
S 59°34'34" W, 66.93 feet;
S 76°48'34" W, 126.07 feet;
S 72°18'34" W, 163.16 feet to the Southwesterly corner of said parcel; thence
along the Westerly line of said parcel , N 21°25'00" E, 12.89 feet, thence leaving said
Westerly line and running parallel with and distant at right angles to the Southerly
property line of said parcel,
N 72°18'34" E, 155.42 feet;
N 76°48'34" E, 124.95 feet;
N 59°34'34" E, 67.01 feet to a point on the Easterly line of said parcel; thence along the
