We are writing in reference to the building plans for 26691 Moody Road-we understand that there is a
planning commission meeting this Thursday(10/22)for reviewing the property plans.We will not be able to
attend that meeting but wanted to make sure that our concerns are heard.
We are supportive of the plans for the property and have spoken to the owners multiple times. However,we are
concerned about the pathway committee's recommendations to build a pathway on Moody Road from Moody
Court to Artemis Ginzton pathway. This pathway goes right in front of the property at 26691 Moody Rd. By
constructing a pathway there,the owners will not be able to offer visual screening for the property.The people
who walk on Moody road will have a direct view of the property. Further,that pathway will be too close to the
proposed construction.
The pathway itself offers no real benefit to people since the pathway on Moody road that abuts Hidden Villa is
widely used and is more than sufficient for the enjoyment of the public. We therefore; strongly believe that the
proposed pathway should not be built on Moody Road and the pathway committee's recommendations be
revised. The owner should be given to option to pay the in lieu fees for the pathway.

Re: Screening of the Hanabe's House, 26691 Moody Road
Dear Ms Avila,
We appreciate the Town and the Hanabe's efforts in creating a solution to build a new
home on this very challenging lot.
Our interest in writing is to ensure that the frontage on Moody Road be beautiful and
effective in screening the new home. Our understanding is that the Pathways
Committee has asked for a walking/horse path between Moody Court and the creek that
crosses Moody Road along Moody Road. As regular dog walkers and bikers we feel
that having a path on the Hanabe's property is not useful and world greatly reduce area
needed for planting. The path across the street that fronts Hidden Villa is very nice and
is contiguous from Hidden Villa to the corner of Elena and Moody at Foothill College.
We would recommend that the Hanabe's not be required to have a path along the front •
of Moody Road but be asked to effectively screen their new home with plants that blend
into the area.
