RESOLUTION 36-19 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE TCITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />OF THE 2019 SANITARY SEWER REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Director of the Town of Los Altos Hills did, in open session, <br />duly examine and consider all bids submitted to it for the construction of the 2019 Sanitary <br />Sewer Repair and Replacement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Director recommends that the contract for said project be <br />awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, C2R Engineering, in the amount of $467,850.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Director recommends that funds of $230,925.00 be made <br />available for the award of the bid alternates and for construction contingency; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br />that: <br />1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract with the lowest <br />responsible bidder in an amount not to exceed $467,850. <br />2. The Public Works Director is hereby authorized to approve contract change orders in <br />an amount not to exceed $230,925.00. <br />The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of <br />Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 20th day of June 2019 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Spreen, Wu, Corrigan, Tankha, 'Tyson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ATTEST: <br />beborah Padovan, City Clerk <br />BY: <br />R er Sprelen, Mayor <br />Resolution 36-19 Page 1 <br />
