2.New Business
A. Review of off-road path areas recommended for review by Council
ii. Zappettini Ct/Central Drive connection. The Committee is sticking to its
original recommendation as per the Minutes of September 26, 2005. Silver
agreed to work with the Town Engineer on details of the route. The Committee
agreed to seek an easement across the portion of 11641 Buena Vista, north of
Central Drive from the existing conservation easement at the boundary where
12541 Zappettini meets 11641 Buena Vista.
Silver moved; Duwe seconded. Unanimous Yes.
i. Story Hill/Page Mill area. Ginzton stressed the need to put A2.3a and A2.3b on
the Off-Road Map. Duwe agreed to work with Dr. Loeb, owner of the property at
28140 Story Hill, to seek the needed easement. The goal is to connect Story Hill
to the existing path built by the Loebs along their property line with Foothill Park
and further to connect with the path of long standing along the creek at 12345
Page Mill Road. The Committee agreed to stick to its original recommendation as
per the Minutes of September 26, 2005. By way of clarification the Committee
agreed the path leading back to Page Mill Road from 12345 should avoid the
driveway if possible.
Ginzton moved; Stutz seconded. 8Yes, 1 No.
iii. Maple Leaf Ct/Via Feliz connection. The question is whether the owner at
27801 Via Feliz would trade the existing easement for an easement running where
the green dotted line is drawn (between B2.9 and B2.10.) The owner has not been
reachable. The Committee agreed to have the map reflect two routes, pending
discussion with the owner over the choice, with the proviso that the Committee
prefers the southern route (the dotted green line.) The lot will not be surrounded.
Vargas moved; Silver seconded. Unanimous Yes.
iv. Lands of Evershine. La Paloma/Atherton Ct connection. The Committee
agreed to stay with its original recommendation and switch easement on 12940
Atherton Ct. to the dotted green line at the top of Atherton Ct. cul de sac.
Two other hot spots will be discussed at future meetings after owners are notified.
The two are: St. Nicholas/Vorhees Dr. and Fernhill/Magdalena.
