Kathy seconded. Approval unanimous. Scott motioned to approve amended October 30th minutes with these two changes, Kathy seconds, all were in favor. 3) Members of the public - none 4) Town Hall Expansion discussion Ying says members of the public need to be aware of the town hall expansion plan, and community center options Sarah says Steve will be giving an update to council at the March council meeting Kjell asks - is the staff space proposed to be added even sufficient for staff growth? Sarah is on board with the new Plan A from a staff standpoint. A lot of things missed in the original concept design are now remedied. Kjell says the new community center idea needs to be disconnected from the failed 2015 effort Scott suggests agendized meeting inviting council and other committees and the public to go to see Portola Valley Community Center Scott makes a motion to ask Deborah to help us set up an agendized field trip to Portola Valley Community Center, inviting Planning Commissioners, Council Members, all Committee members, and all members of the public. Portola Valley is half the size of ours and has a really nice community center. Ingrid seconds the motion. All in favor, unanimous. Aiming for some time in early March. -It seems a significant portion of residents did not get the postcard notice in January, including many Parks and Rec members example: Nina (but her address wasn’t on the town list), Ying, Scott on Fremont Pines, and Ingrid on Melody Lane whose addresses were in fact on the town’s list. 5. a. Earth Day - sent out ask for 4/14 6. e. Touch a truck - trying to figure out if we want open to non-residents, turnout is quite large Website calendar - Ying wants events updated on there more long-term. Meeting Adjourned: 7:26PM Respectfully Submitted by: Nina Sutaria
