3.Public Comments (list members of public) Robyn Aber – LAH Art Committee. Robyn presented a slide
presentation on proposed bird sculptures for Edith Park, that would be made of ceramic, and have eco
friendly spikes to mount to the trees in the park. She wanted our support before she went to Council.
She also spoke on the new members on the Art Committee and their more environmentally friendly,
natural looking approach to art in town. The committee discussed the proposal, and voted to support
the addition of these ceramic birds in Edith Park, provided the spikes would not harm the trees.
Robyn also said she would be able to ask at their committee to have someone come run the art
station at the Hoedown. P&R voted to unanimously support placing the ceramic birds at Edith Park
with summer installation.
