Committee Member Reports:
J Radford attended two LASD meetings concerning parcel tax. Survey

passing; there was much discussion and many speakers against the PT and
the LASD Board voted 3-0 (Luskin & Cooper abstained) not to go forward
with the parcel tax now. J Radford noted that LASD Demog forecast is flat
until 2016.
S Stark reported on expected LASD cuts. GB enrollment expected 230-250
for 09-10 with 5 PAUSD ITDs (all Kinder). The LAH IDT mailer to
PAUSD cost was $1,000.

from last year; LASD apps are up 28% from last year and the school could
fill 8 kinders with LASD students (kinder apps are up 38% from last year).
