3a. Dru Anderson gave a report on the June 18th training session on ECC
operations. There was unanimous agreement that it was a useful session.
Dru has informed town staff of the safety hazard of the loose tread on the
steps.
In regard to the DSW photo badge process, it was reported that the town has
a photo badge machine and as soon as we receive the proper form a photo
day will be scheduled.
A proposal was made that the meeting time be moved from 7:30 PM the first
Monday of the month to 3:00 PM the second Thursday of the month. This will
be decided by the committee officers before the next meeting.
(NOTE: meetings have settled since on 2nd Wednesday of the month @ 3
p.m. (workshop) and 7 p.m. (business meeting).
Dru Anderson and Scott Overstreet proposed that we have a technical talk
at every meeting. It was also proposed that we have a workshop every
couple of months and continue to plan more cooperation with Los Altos.
3b. Bob Anderson gave his report on liaison with the Emergency Prep
Committee. The magnetic signs for cars have become mired in red tape and
are delayed as a consequence.
4. The cabinet for the repeater is to arrive this week and the antenna has
been purchased.
The presentation for the EOC monopole antenna tower is being prepared.
5. All meeting attendees were issued battery holders for the town ICOM HT's.
It was suggested that we keep extra batteries in the refrigerator for longer
life. This was followed by a discussion of cell phone technology and coverage
with the council liaison, per his inquiry.

Respectfully submitted,
LAH ECC Secretary
