Review of Planning Commission Meeting
1. Gavra, Lot 1, Venedo Lane. The house is to be moved back 10 feet. The hole in
the garden may be filled.
2. Agam, Lot 2, Venedo Lane. A wall height exception was made on a wall to an
underground garage.
3. Eaton, W. Sunset Drive. The application as written was approved. There was
lengthy discussion concerning an existing footpath. Points considered included 1.
The fact that this is a private road. 2. That a path existing on the Pathway Plan
should not be eliminated, 3. There is no space for the normal 10 ft pathway.
Sandy noted that the pathway was not on the Agenda.
Review of Site Development/ Fast Track meetings:
No significant issues.
Future Commitment
We will have a stand at the Hoedown at Westwind Barn on Saturday 12th September
2009.
Other Business
At the enormously successful Town Picnic on July 4th our stand had a record number of
visitors.
A meeting of the Board has been scheduled for Friday 19th June at 9.30 a.m. to finalize
work on the Lighting Ordinance.
A L.A.H. resident spoke to Sandy at the Picnic concerning the approach to the Town at
the Adobe Creek bridge which he considers made ugly by the white barricade and orange
bins. We will look into this.
At another entry to L.A.H., at the Page Mill Road end of Arastradero, the median under
the 280 bridge is always an eye-sore. We will talk to the City on how it might be
improved.
Sandy will ask the company now maintaining the Native Plant Garden if the native plants
used on our stand at various events could be slotted into the Garden.
Letters will be sent to the Open Space Committee and the Pathways Committee asking if
they would find useful an exchange of Board Meeting minutes.
Meeting adjourned at 6.45 pm.
