The main item on the agenda concerned name changes to paths on the Nicholson
property and was passed 5 – 0.
New Business:
e. Discussion of complaint from Mr. Preysman
Issue resolved, no further action needed. Photography by the EDPC is allowed.
a. Election of New Board
Members voted to keep Pat as Chairman for another 2 years. This appointment is
subject to Council approval to be sought by John Harpootlian
The items b, c and d:
These three items all hinged upon the same fact – the problems caused by the
small size of the Committee. Everyone at the meeting agreed that the reports
from the EDPC supply the Planning Department with an objective perspective of
the sights visited.
The charges and duties of the Committee as stated on the Town Web Site were
reviewed and approved.
It was decided to do everything possible to increase the number of the Committee
to 7 or 8 as quickly as possible, and Nancy Couperus, Kjell Carlssen and Mary
Ann Malcolm agreed to file applications immediately, thus meeting the Council
deadline of Monday 15th. John, as our Council Liaison, will be able to help with
these applications.
As new members will need to gain experience for several years before they
become fully effective, volunteers must be more vigorously sought.
Adjournment: Meeting adjourned at 7:10 PM
