Next Board Meeting Date: August 12th, 2014 2. Next Field Trip Dates: Friday July 25th., Friday Aug. l $t., Friday August Stn 3. Next Site Development/Fast Track Assignments: July 15 (Carol), July 22 (Neela), July 29 (Carol), August 5 (Nancy), August 12 (Pat). 4. Review of Fast Track/Site Assignments: June 17 = Pat, June 24 = Carol, July 1 = Nancy, July 8 = Neela Nothing of interest to report 5. Review of Special Planning Commission Meeting: June 24 • The Lighting of Tennis Courts at Fremont Hill Club was accepted with the condition that the lights stay on only until 9 PM and this decision will be reviewed after one year. A final decision will be made by the Town Council. • The Planning Commission requested a town -wide notification so those interested can attend the Town Council meeting. 6. Next Planning Commission Meeting: July l Otn "K- H� t- 7. Review of Town Council Meeting: June 10H • The distribution of the Town's annual-abef. bud e was �y g ) discussed in detail. • Town Manager Cahill is to keep the same position with increase to his annual salary 8. Next Town Council Meeting: July 16th. 9. Election of EDP Committee officers The following nominations were proposed and second by members present. • Committee Chair: Pat Ley (Carol nominated; Nancy seconded) • Vice Chair: Carol Gottlieb (Mary Ann nominated; Wai Lee seconded) • Secretary: Wai Lee Wong (Nancy nominated; Carol seconded) 10. Other Business • June Board Meeting. A quorum was not reached so no Minutes were produced. • A motion was proposed by Carol Gottlieb and seconded by Nancy Couperus that the EDPC should write the following letter to the Town Council: • Dear Council Members, The Environmental Design & Protection Committee feels that allowing lighting at the private tennis courts of the Fremont Hills Club is an important change in Town policy and that all Town residents should be aware of this change. A Town -wide notification by mail, as requested by the Planning Commission, should be held in September when residents have all returned from their vacations. `J Vt, l s This Motion passed by 5 votes, with one abstention: for=Nancy, Carol, Pat, MaryAnn, Wai-Lee. 11.
