Other Business
1. Pat reported on the meeting called by Mayor Corrigan on February 4th of all the
Chairs of the Town’s Volunteer Committees. It was the aim of the Mayor to
foster co-operation between the various committees, that members should get to
know one another and work together when occasion arose. Each Chair spoke of
the aims of their committee and several bemoaned the lack of new young
recruits. The Mayor hoped that people would be motivated by their love of the
Town. It had been written in the Town Crier that there were 44 vacancies on
Los Altos Hills committees.
2. Carol was concerned that “road dedication” was no longer used and had been
replaced by “right of way”. Had the original Ordinance been officially changed?
3. It was suggested by Nancy that, on field trip days, newer members should
examine the plans even if they could not visit the sites. The suggestion was
approved.
Adjournment: Meeting adjourned at 7:00 PM
