Tree Ordinance- Steve Padovan has been assigned to write the ordinance. *Neal Mielke brought documents that show LAH was originally grass lands and that the requirement to plant trees during development has changed the landscape of the Town. Some of the trees required to be planted now block precious views. 2. Subdivision ordinance revisions still in progress due to the fact the Planning Commission meeting ran late and were put off to the next meeting. 3. Update on Metal Roof Sub-committee: Still working on it and researching reflective values due to the position of the sun. 4. Update Apricot Orchard: Sent Carl the name of person who prunes the Los Altos Apricot Orchard. 5. Revision to the Field Trip Review Sheets. Window format. Raj and Wai Lee are still discussing on format. New Business 1.Approval of July 11 minutes: Approved by all. 2.Election of New Officers: Chairman: Carol Gottlieb Vice Chair: Ed Smith & Secretary: Wai Lee – Approved by all. 3. Planning Department Packet for New applicant: Peter Brown to update the plant list for the Environmental Design Committee. 4.Review of Friday’s Field Trips: a.June 15, 2017 11120 Mora Dr-major remodel: Two trees may need to be cut down due to poor condition of the trees. No additional comments. 26620 Purissima-Landscape Screening-(Owner: Patel, Trustee&ET Al). Lights and front screening. No additional comments. 26860 Robleda Court-Landscape Screening-Randall & Doona Kruep): All plants are too close together, no lighting shown. No debris box on site. There may be insufficient space for pool and landscape in backyard. b.June 30, 2017 24925 Oneonta Dr single family residence (owner:Dutchints Development LLC): Identify trees. 26160 Rancho Manuella Lane-Second Unit (Owner Tidhar Shalon & Tai Shalon) No additional comments. 27001 Appaloosa Way-Major Remodel (Johnson Lori K. Trustee) no comments. 5.Review of the Fast Tracks/Site Development Meetings a.June 20, 2017 111555 Hillpark Lane Landscape Screening-Lands of Parvarabdeh: Owner agreed to Open Space easement. Neighbors concerned about views. b.July 11, 2017 25616 Moody-Landscaping Screening-Lands of Good Moody LLC Approved 13861 La Paloma Road New residence: Lands of Moore - Approved. 6.Planning Commission Meeting-July 6, 2017 Lands of Croll 1416 Miranda Road: Uplights not approved. Lands of Kalbali 13531 Burke Road: Landscape Plans Approved. Lands of Chen 126653 Snell Lane: Lowered house and revised lighting – approved. Lands of Siempre Trust 27800 Via Feliz: Approved if they can work with staff to conform to estate home ordinance. 7. Council Report: June 5, 2017 8.Adjournment
