Final Minutes of October 9, 2018

1. Meeting Called to Order at 5:40 p.m.

4. Old Business
a. Tree Ordinance – Jeremy has been assigned to complete it.
b. Outdoor Lighting – On Hold
c. Mental Roof Guidelines – Passed by Planning and are now a guide line.
d. Beautification of Entrance to Town – On Hold
5. New Business
a. August 18, Minutes – Not available for approval.
b. September 11, 2018 – Approved with Correction. Buvana to send to Deborah
c. Committee Meeting Time - It was moved and seconded and approved by all to
change meeting time to 5:45 p.m. to accommodate our newest members. May
need to go to Council for approval.
d. Fast Tracks Procedures. As new sites come in, Cody emails both Birgitta, Wai Lee
and Carol the information (best if all Committee members receive the emails) and he
puts the drawing into our cupboard. Wai Lee to enter information into Drop Box
Excel Spread Sheet. Carol will send Cody the list of properties to be reviewed so he
can send out his notices to owners of the properties to be reviewed. We meet at
9:00 a.m. in the Heritage House or kitchen to review drawing prior to going out into
the field.
e. Fast Track Guide Lines. Birgitta and Carol will start review. Nancy has asked to join
us.
f. Vijay volunteered to be our Secretary starting with November Meeting.
6. Review of Field Trip Reports (Review findings & provide members not on the Field Trip
with Detailed Information)
a. September 7, 2018
1. 14172 Amherst Court – Landscape Screening: If native vegetation is kept, home
is well screened from offsite except in the front.
2. 113112 Maple Leaf Court- Landscape Screening: Front visible from off site –
gravel between pool & home should have stepping stone. Grading at the 10-foot
no grading line could impact neighbor’s oak trees.
3. 267173 Rancho Manuella – Landscape Screening: Framing not completed -
grading taking place next to oak trees – should be seen again.

1. 13920 Fremont Pines – New Pool
c. October 5, 2018
1. 12450 Hilltop – New Residence: Modern Home – visible from Hilltop
2. 24290 Hillview – Remodel: Small addition with basement
3. 25383 La Rena - Landscape Screening: Hard to screen from the house across the
valley because of the steep drop-off below the new house.
7. Site Development/Fast Track Meeting
a. September 18, 2018 - none
b. September 25, 2018 –26890 Alejandro Drive – Held over to if Engineering approved
the filling on the Creek
c. October 2, 2018
1. 13920 Fremont Pines Lane – Pool approved with elimination of the Bocce Ball
Court
2. 26890 Alejandro Drive – Engineering had approved the drainage plan which
included filling of creek. Added additional landscaping.
d. October 9, 2018
1. 26100 Duval Way - Home & Secondary Approved.
8. Planning Commission Meeting Report October 4, 2018
a. 13335 Wildcrest Driveway – Held over
b. 13335 Wildcrest Landscape Screening includes wild life permeable fencing for area
that should have been designated as open space.

2. Considering combining the Park and Rec with the Community Service Committee
