Roll Call Attendees: Andy Coleman (new member), Kujan Shah, Raj Reddy, Rich Larsen Members of the Public: Rick Weiss, Gary Waldeck, Tilu Aurora 2. Approval of Minutes 3. Earth Day April 18 Decided to have a display and handout materials on Earth Day, as we did in the past. Several attendees committed to being available to man the booth, 1-4 p.m. Specific details need to be worked out. 4. Community Choice Aggregation: Based on our discussion, with specific emphasis that PG&E would be unsupportive, and LAH being a small community, it would not be feasible to pursue community choice aggregation for the town of LAH. 5. LAH Green Building ordinance: Raj Reddy will meet with Debbie Pedro, LAH Planning Director to discuss the details on increasing the Green Point requirements to 75 points for new homes. Also discuss implementation of GP requirements on re-models. Evaluate the number of current homes, and new installations of solar systems in Los Altos Hills. Expand Green Point requirements for re-models: Need further evaluation, based on short payback measures as part of the remodel. Kujan Shah will provide additional thoughts at our next meeting, after review of GP manual. San Mateo City currently implements Green point requirements for re-models. City of Los Altos Hills is now a member of Bay Area Climate Collaboration (BACC). The next BACC meeting is on March 24th in San Francisco. Members of the EIC committee are welcome to attend. NOTICE TO PUBLIC Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Environmental Initiatives Committee regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s office located at Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California during normal business hours. 6.
