Signs needed to identify two paths and a road named for historic figures Earnest reported that based on the resolution adopted by the Committee at its March meeting, an email was sent to City Manager Carl Cahill on 3/22/2010 pointing out that in 2008 the Council had named the Packard and Wallace Stegner Paths as well as Margit Way, leading to Westwind Barn, to honor historical figures but no signs had been erected (and still haven't). 7. Earnest volunteered to prepare a memorandum for Council consideration giving the background of this recommendation. 10. Proposal to recognize a modern Anza Trail route through Los Altos Hills Given that in March the Committee recommended to the Council that a pedestrian/equestrian path through Town honoring the 1776 Anza expedition be designated, as requested by the National Park Service, a memo making that recommendation was addressed to Council and given to Mayor Breene Kerr on 3/26/2010. 11.
