Old Business:
Review work in progress of proposed revision to Appendix A – LAH historic sites/buildings –
Homeowner on DeBell is interested in being part of a “historical significance” property and Carol
Gottlieb is in discussions with her about options
Update on draft of incentive programs – Nick French family property update: 5 decision makes and 1
party has mixed feelings because there is nothing in writing with Town approval. Discussed whether a
proposal should be discussed with Suzanne and get more concrete options before getting property
owner buy‐in. Jitze Couperus discussed conflict between Appendix A updates and the charter of the
History Committee; prepared a draft document reviewing the current issues and possible solutions;
committee reviewed and had discussion
ACTION ITEM: Jitze Couperus emailing committee updated draft for review, then Nick French will
message Gary Waldeck with document and request a meeting to review direction
Poor Clare Monastery Tour: MaryAnn Malcolm scheduling tour of facility for April 18th, 2pm
Apricot Orchard: MaryAnn confirmed pruning of apricot and 2 olive trees next to History House
History Committee Final Minutes
2017 Annual History Committee Event, 9/24: 2‐4pm – LAH/LA Silicon Valley Game Changers, hosted
by Dick Henning – History Committee to pick panelists and coordinate
New Business:
Review and define a response to Mayor Waldeck’s request: discussed throughout the meeting
