Minutes of Tuesday, February 19, 2019 3:30 PM Regular Meeting

Absent—May Davenport, Jitze Couperus, Linda Swan, Joe Heinrich

1. The meeting was called to order at 3:40 PM.
2. Presentations from the floor.
Nobuko Cleary gave an update on oral history interviews for Steve Finn and Nancy
Ginzton. She would like to identify more people to interview.
3. Minutes for Meeting of January 15, 2019.
Corrections: Jane Patrick was present representing the History House and Sally Wood
was absent
A motion to approve the corrected minutes was made by Carol Gottlieb and seconded by
Sylvia Jensen. Approval of minutes with corrections passed.
4. Dates of interest
The History walk on March 25, 2019 will start at 9 am at the Town Hall.
5. Old Business:
Council rescinded vote to approve Appendix A. Appendix A will stay as it is.

Los Altos History House possibilities for associate membership for a member of history
committee
Cosmo George Morgan “Little Gables” over 3 acres – property may be subdivided;
caretaker for Morgan Manor, but house is in poor condition and does not have identified
architectural value
History talk presented to town staff by Jitze Couperus; Consider expanded presentation
for Planning Commission or Town Council

Mills Act - Los Altos Hills and Los Gatos do not have it
New members of history committee needed; Bridget has resigned. Currently there are
four associate members.
Discussion of possible collaborations. Nobuko Cleary suggested a lecture on the history
of Hidden Villa. Sylvia Jensen suggested Pink Horse Ranch as a subject. Tom
McReynolds was also suggested for Adobe Creek Lodge.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:35 p.m.
