Roger will continue to monitor to be sure nothing is planned without input from the Open Space Committee. He will emphasize that the OSC wants to be kept informed. Patty suggested that the culvert which is not presently working could be cleaned out, but no additional actions should be taken without first doing a Byrne Preserve Master Plan. Karen passed out information on projects funded by the Urban Streams Program – California Department of Water Resources. The following website describes projects which were funded in 2004-2005: http://www.watershedrestoration.water.ca.gov/urbanstreams/pastproj Mary Davey recommended that the first step would be to identify the problems in Byrne Preserve in order to put out an RFP. Members of the OSC were asked to collect a list of problems and send them to Roger who will post them on a website. f.
