about renaming the pieces. The artist approved the renaming. After a lengthy discussion about
the previous selected name (“Totem to our Olone Roots”) it was decided to agenda size this

Candless (original artist). Their donation will include all expenses for placing, installing and the
dedication plaque. Installation slated for 2014.
Motion by Maryam Dickey: To accept “Blue”. Unanimously, approved.
Karen will present and recommend this donation at the City Council meeting on January 16,
2014.

Loaner sculptures were briefly discussed. One artist has come forth (Richard Starks, of Gilroy)
with an offer. Karen will visit him in Gilroy in December, to preview and discuss his works. This
item was tabled for now.
Maryam & Johnathan Dickey offered to donate a sculpture this year. They will work with Karen
regarding the piece and location, acceptance of the piece is subject to the APP Committee’s
