Meeting called to order at 6:06p by Chairperson Robyn Aber Members Attending: Gail Solomon, Diane Brauch (recording secy.), Robyn Aber, David Milgram, Nicole Andrews, Farah Tabatabai Associate Member: Kjell Karlsson Absent: Stacey Newman 2. Awaiting Minutes for the May 2018 meeting from recording secy, Farah Tabatabai 3. No presentations from the floor 4. Open Items: a. Town Picnic, June 3, 2018: Farah Tabatabai and Gail Solomon attended the picnic and worked the PAC table/booth. Provided handouts and informed visitors about the Committee. 5. Election of FY 2018-19 Officers: Moved and seconded that David Milgram and Nicole Andrews will co-chair the committee from Aug. 2018-July 2019. Diane Brauch will prepare minutes from August 2018 to January 2019. Unanimously approved. 6. New Business: a. Continued discussion of temporary loaner art. Nicole Andrews will look into details from other cities who use temporary art. Robyn developed/presented a draft policy for a loaner art program & recommended researching Americans for the Arts as one way to conduct calls for art. b. Online Digital Art Gallery - Robyn Aber worked with Town staff to post art pieces on the PAC Web page created by our Committee members. Discussion ensued about how to further develop this medium as a rotating showcase for art of various media by town artists. c. Gail Solomon announced she will be stepping down from the committee but would like to continue to contribute as an Associate Member. d. Robyn Aber reminded David Milgram and Nicole Andrews that the town council requires an Annual Report from the PAC in September. e. Robyn Aber and David Milgram assisted Karen Druker in a presentation to the Los Altos Hills Club by exhibiting slides of representative public art pieces and explaining our committee's mission and means of operation. 7. Meeting adjourned 7:50p. Next regular meeting of the Committee is August 13, 2018, 6p - Parks & Rec Bldg.
