HomeMy WebLinkAboutMay 13Los Altos Hills Public Art Committee Meeting Final Minutes Monday, May 13, 2018 Parks and Recreation Building, LAH 1.Meeting was called to order at 6:02 pm by Chairperson Robyn Aber. Members Present: Robyn Aber, Nicole Andrews, Farah Tabatabai (recording secretary), David Milgram, Gail Solomon Associate Member: Kjell Karlsson Absent: Diane Brauch, Stacey Newman 2. Minutes from the April 2018 meeting: David Milgram moved to approve the minutes. Motion was seconded by Nicole Andrews. Motion passed. 3. Two-minute presentations from the Floor: None 4. Status of Action Items: A. Earth Day Event Feedback discussed. B. The PAC Webpage is up to date. The Town Lands Photo Binder is in progress. The current language in the PAC Charter will stand. C. “Paint Off” to be discussed at the next PAC meeting since Diane not present. D. PAC FY2018 Accomplishments that Deborah requested from Chairs requires no action. E. Artwork Donation Forms need revision. David Milgram will take a first pass at the forms. Nikki motioned that PAC post the Artwork Donation Policy/Guidelines/Procedures on the PAC website. Farah seconded the motion. Motion passed. Action Item - Robyn will contact the Town staff to post the document(s) on the website. F. Online Digital Public Art photography will be posted on the PAC webpage. Initially, only LAH residents can submit their art. PAC will need to develop the criteria for artists to submit their work. Action Item - Nikki is going to develop criteria for artist selection and selection of their art. 5. New Business: A.Site Specific Art Discussed. B. Pathways Committee Coordination addressed by Nikki. Town Picnic presence discussed: Gail will check to see if the town has a six-foot table. Additional copies of black and white pictures needed. 6. Next Regular meeting is scheduled for June 14th at 6 pm. 7. Meeting was Adjourned at 7:35 pm.
