All other terms and conditions of the Original Agreement continue in full force. 1. Facility Use and Hours. Facility Owner acknowledges and agrees to the dates and times in the revised Addendum A attached to this amendment as a substitute to the dates and times in the Original Agreement with respect to the November 3, 2020 election. The equipment delivery and setup dates in the revised Addendum B attached to this amendment supercede and replace the dates in the Original Agreement with respect to the November 3, 2020 election. 2. Facility Use Payment. The following shall supercede and replace Paragraph 3 of the Original Agreement with respect to the November 3, 2020 election: "3. The Registrar of Voters shall pay Facility Owner for use of the Facility in accordance with the below: ❑ Facility agrees to waive the payment. Contract Execution: This amendment may be executed in counterparts, each of which will be considered an original, but all of which together will constitute the same instrument. Without limiting the foregoing, a copy of this amendment sent via facsimile or electronic mail in a portable document format ("PDF") will be considered an original. Unless otherwise prohibited by law or County policy, the parties agree that an electronic copy of this amendment, or an electronically signed amendment, has the same force and legal effect as the amendment executed with an original ink signature. The term "electronic copy of this amendment" refers to a transmission by facsimile, electronic mail, or,other electronic means of a copy of the original signed amendment in a portable document format. The term "electronically signed amendment" means the amendment that is executed by applying an electronic signature using technology approved by the County. California Election code requires Vote Centers to be open a minimum of 8 hours per day for three (3) or ten (10) consecutive days prior to Election Day and on Election Day from 7a.m. to 8p.m., inclusive. Vote Center staff need access a minimum of an hour before and after voting hours, and on Election Day will need access for a minimum of two hours after voting concludes. Important: Please ensure the accuracy of the information as these dates and hours will be published and made public by the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters'. You will receive an email 2-3 weeks before the Vote Center opens to dpadovan@losaltoshills.ca.eov [ insert email address for receipt of Deployment Schedule] confirming the details of equipment coming to your facility. Please provide the name, phone number, and email information for the person, if different than the Primary Contact on page 1, who will be accepting delivery of the Vote Center equipment. There are no other events occurring in this room. Pick-up of Equipment: Equipment delivery and setup of Vote Center will be scheduled on November 4, 2020 and November 5, 2020 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Other Arrangements: ❑ Equipment can remain set up in the room on Election Day until pick-up occurs. ❑ Equipment cannot be left out on Election Night. All equipment must be packed up and stored until Election Staff arrive to remove it.
