RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS
ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF DEDICATION OF
RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT AND PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
WHEREAS, a portion of Natoma Oaks Lane (formerly Charles Avenue) was offered for
dedication for right-of-way and utility easements on that certain Document titled Irrevocable
Offer of Dedication of Right of Way and Utility Easement, recorded November 15, 1999 as
document number 15057834, official records of Santa Clara County and said offer of dedication
was acknowledged and rejected by Resolution No. 61-99; and
WHEREAS, the right-of-way easement of the Natoma Oaks Lane was offered for public use as
a condition of approval of the 9 -lots at Natoma Oaks subdivision;
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that acceptance of the right-of-way easement
dedication shall complete the right-of-way for the newly created public street, Natoma Oaks
Lane, and serves an important public purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does RESOLVE as
follows:
The Town hereby accepts on behalf of the public the dedication of the right-of-way easement
and utility easement described and depicted in Attachment 2 hereto; and that the Mayor is hereby
authorized and directed to execute the Dedication on behalf of the Town.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills at the regular City Council meeting held on 21st day of January 2021 by the
following vote:

IRREVOCABLE OFFER OF U D -1 -QA_ OF
RIGHT OF WAY AND UTILITY EASEMENT
This Irrevocable Offer of Dedication of Right of Way and Utility Easement ("Offer of
Dedication") is granted by Rebecca Stirling, as Executrix of the Estate of John M. Stirling,
deceased ("Owner") in favor of the Town of Los Altos Hills, a municipal corporation of the
State of California ('7own"). '
A. Ownerowns property in the Town of Los Altos Hills ("Town") consisting of two
lots commonly known as 28025 Natoma Road ("Lot 'i ") and 28050 Natoma Road ("Lot 2"),
which are more particularly described respectively in Mbit Art and A-2 attached heretg.
B. Owner desires to dedicate a right of way and utility easement over Lot 1 to
the Town, as more particularly described and shown in Exhibit g attached hereto.
C. Town does not wish to accept this Offer of Dedication at this time, but wishes
to reserve the right to accept the Offer of Dedication in the future.
NOW, THEREFORE, Owner declares as follows:
1. Right of Way. Owner hereby irrevocably offers to dedicate to the Town a
right of way and utility easement in the property described in Exh� ibit B attached hereto.
2. NQ Implied AcQ aL4m. Owner understands that this Offer of Dedication
can only be accepted by Resolution of the City Council of the Town pursuant to California
Streets and Highways Code Section 1806, and that recordation of this Offer to Dedicate
shall not and will not constitute acceptance of this Offer to Dedicate.

3. Irrevocaj2ilitZ-3irn eCt. This Offer to Dedicate shall be irrevocable,
and shall run with the land and be binding upon the heirs, representatives, :successors and
assigns of Owner and is mutually beneficial to the Town and the Owner. The provisions
of this Offer to Dedicate shall inure to the benefit of all successors and assigns of the
Town.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Owner has executed this Offerof Dedication on the date
set forth below.

A portion of Lot 16 as Shown upon the map entitled, "Map of the
Subdivision of Lot 2 and Part of Lot 1 of the Taaffe Partition",
which map was filed for record June 25, 1894 in Book H of Maps at
Pages 76 and 77, Santa Clara County Records, and more
particularly described as follows;
BEGINNING at the southwesterly corner of Tract No. 2263 as shown
on the map filed October 26, 1958 in Book 113 of Maps at Page 22,
Santa Clara County Recorder, said corner also being the
northwesterly corner of the lands herein described;
THENCE along the southerly line of said Tract No. 2263 and the
easterly prolongation thereof North 85028116" East 102.81 feet
and North 76015117” East 378.65 feet to the centerline of Elena
Road (now called Natoma Road) as shown on the map of said Tract
No. 2263;
THENCE along last said line South 2104714811 West 86.03 feet to an
angle point in the said line of Elena Road as shown on last said

All that certain real property situated in the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa
Clara, State of California, commonly known as 28030 Natoma Road, and described as:
Lot 20 as shown on that certain map entitled, "Map of the Subdivision of Lot 2 and Part
of Lot 1 of the Taaffe Partition in the Rancho La Purissima Concepcion," which was filed
on .Tune tis, 1894, in Book H of Maps, at Pages 76 and 77, in the Office of the Recorder,
County of Santa Clara.

An easement for ingress,agreset, and utilities over the following
described parcel of land situated in the Town of Los Altos Hills,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, being a portion of
Lot 16 sa shown upon the map entitled, "Map of the Subdivision of
Lot 2 and part of Lot 1 of the Taaffe partition", which map was
filed for record Orune 25, 1894 in Book H of Maps at pages 76 and
77, said easement being further described as follows:
BEGINNING on the centerline of Elena Road (now called Natoma
Road) at the easterly prolongation of the southerly line of Tract
No. 2263 as shown on the map filed October 26, 1958 in Book 113
of Maps at page 22, Santa Clara County Records;
THENCE along said centerline of Elena Road as shown on last said
map south 21047'48" West 73.74 feet;
THENCE leaving last said line, along a line parallel to said
southerly line of Tract No. 2263 and distant 60.00 feet at right
angles therefrom, South 76015917" West 353.77 feet;
THENCE along a line no longer parallel to said southerly line of
Tract No. 2263 South 68000' West 99.57 feet to the westerly line
of said Lot 16;
THENCE along last said line North 4020' West 92.00 feet to the
southwesterly corner of said Tract No. 2263;
THENCE along the southerly line of said Tract No. 2263 and the
easterly prolongation thereof North 85028116" East 102.81 feet
and North 76015117" East 378.65 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Said easement is for the benefit of Lot 20 of the subdivision
first described above, and the intent is that at such time as Lot
20 may be further subdivided the easement herein described will
be accepted as a public right-of-way by the Town of Los Altos
Hills.
