A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS APPROVING OF FURNITURE PURCHASE AND
EXISTING SPACE RECONFIGURATION
WHEREAS, in 2018 the town identified deficiencies in employee office space and on-site
meeting and classroom facilities and invested in the development of the addition project to address
this space requirements needs; and
WHEREAS, the parks and recreation facility is over 60 years old, is inefficient, and does not meet
current codes; and
WHEREAS, current furniture is inadequate to meet ergonomic standards, or allow for better
configuration to meet COVID 19 requirements.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Director recommends that the City Council authorize staff to
complete town improvements including, the purchase of new furniture, reconfiguration of spaces
and advertise a design build RFP for town hall phase 2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills
that:
1. The purchase of new furniture and minor reconfiguration of the copy room and parks and
recreation described in the City Council Agenda for this Resolution is hereby approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City Council of the Town of
Los Altos Hills at a regular meeting held on the 201h day of January 2022 by the following vote:
AYES: Tyson, Swan, Mok, Schmidt, Tanlcha
NOES: None

ABSENT: None
