1.Call to Order and Roll Call
2.Presentations from the Floor
a.Nancy Couperus. Wildlife conservation network – fundraiser to save plant/tree species
overseas.
3.Future Committee Dates of Interest & Assignments
a.EDPC Committee: Tuesday, April 14, 2020 @ 5:45 p.m.
b.City Council: March 19, 2020; April 16, 2020, 6:00pm
c.Planning Commission: April 2, 2020
d.Field Trips: March 13, March 20, March 27, April 3, April 10
e.Fast Track/Site Development Meetings: March 17, March 24, March 31, April 7, April 14
4.Old Business
a.Tree Ordinance – Jeremy has it.
b.Fast Track Guide – EDPC not working on this.
c.Outdoor Lighting Ordinance – EDPC write up should go to Planning staff for adoption.
d.Fence Ordinance – In pipeline for Zachary, but after ADU resolved.
e.Old Minutes – nothing reviewed.
f.Town Beautification: Underground Utility Project – Not enough funds.
g.Heritage Tree designation for Pat Ley's Junipers – It might be possible for Pat to do a deed
restriction on her property without going through the town’s process.
5.New Business
a.February 11, 2020 Minutes Approved.
b.ADU ordinance – Zachary presented to Planning Commission. Approved with ADU to be 1-
story, even at 19 feet, and no ADU basements are allowed within setbacks. Will now go to
City Council.
6.Review of Field Trip Reports
a.Becky Lane – Previous 8 foot fence along Moody Rd denied. Landscape screening not
sufficient.
b.26000 Bentley Ct – Request to fill in existing pool, and construct a new pool in the
setback. Variance will be required.
c.West Sunset – Along Adobe Creek. Willing to give 25 foot riparian habitat setback. 50%
slope lot. Geotech survey needed. 3 story visual effect, and part of the basement may
need to be counted as MFA as it is not totally underground. Recommend planning
commission review.
7.Review of Fast Tracks Meetings
a.Burke Lane – Neighbor upset about grading for pool, due to impact of drainage on to
her property.
8.Planning Commission Meeting Report
a.Joint meeting on ADU
b.Regular meeting – Adopted ADU ordinance
9.City Council Meeting Report
a.Cell tower on Foothill

Committee regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection in the City
Clerk’s office located at Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California during normal
business hours.
