Used as planning tool. To update the map would be expensive; but map still useful. KG & PB to ask Live Oaks for wildlife corridor identification criteria and request speaker on wildlife corridor benefits. • American Rescue Plan funds to be used for Covid-related activities. CC will discuss. KG motioned, WW 2nd. Open Space Committee does not recommend funds to install artificial turf at Purissima Park (send Valley Water’s list of artificial turf’s environmental detriments). We recommend funds to preserve and enhance the Town’s open space preserves, a resource that was highly used during covid. Continuing Business: • KG to ask Grassroots Ecology to present on native plants. Request permission to advertise event at next City Council meeting (Nov 18) • KG to find speaker for wildlife corridor (perhaps Live Oaks) and request permission to advertise event from City Council. • No update on tree ordinance but discussions with Public Works on tree removals or pruning notification process and arborist reports. • Waiting for new planning director to push new bee keeping ordinance. • Stinkwort spraying complete but not sure who received notices. • KG to test file sharing with GC & JS.
